The Roots EV RT-B-A18 is an 18-passenger electric shuttle bus positioned between the RT-B-A14 and RT-B-A23 in the Roots EV bus range, built for operations that have outgrown a 14-seater but don't yet need full 23-seater capacity. The RT-B-A18 pairs a high-torque 3-phase AC induction motor with a high-current BLDC controller to handle the demands of 18-passenger operation across varied campus terrain, while the large-capacity LFP lithium battery pack ensures sufficient range for full-day duty cycles without a mid-shift recharge.
